REV. JOSEPH AND KAREN BEACH
Pastor Beach has been at the church for over 40 years and actively involved in ordained pulpit and pastoral ministry here at Amazing Grace for over 35 years. He is also the author of Ordinary Church: A Long and Loving Look, a book that expresses his philosophy of local church ministry and the history of Amazing Grace Church. Karen has been in the church for almost 65 years - having grown up here as a pastor's kid and then as a pastor's wife. She serves in multiple areas including Children's ministry. -- ohmercy@gmail.com
REV. JOHN AND JANET ZIMMERMANN
Pastor Zimmermann has been connected to Amazing Grace Church for several decades through the Evangelistic Missionary Fellowship - while he served as a pastor for over 25 years in Minnesota and South Carolina. He moved here in 2012 and began serving as one of our pastors/elders in 2014. He currently serves as an external elder as he and Janet have recently moved back to South Carolina to be close to family. Pastor John remains a very active member of the elder board, however, still serving in several roles along with contributing ongoing wisdom and accountability. - jrz1@bellsouth.net
aaron and mallory beach
Aaron serves as a local elder of Amazing Grace Church. Aaron has been at Amazing Grace for all of his 39 years. Along with serving on the board of directors, Aaron preaches, teaches, oversees the educational ministries of the church, along with the overseeing the ministry of ushers. Mallory serves on the worship team.
Rev. Bryan Peterson and rev. brian zahnd
Bryan and Brian serve as external elders on the board of directors of Amazing Grace Church. Bryan Peterson is the pastor of Ridgeway Church in Madison, WI; and Brian Zahnd is the pastor of Word of Life Church in St. Joseph, MO, along with being a well-known writer and speaker. Pastor Kindschy and his wife, Sylvia, served Amazing Grace Church for over 65 years. Pastor Kindschy was prayerfully and actively involved in leadership at the church right up to his death in January of 2020. We honor and remember his impact on the ministry and life of Amazing Grace Church.
